Norma and Jim Dice spent most of their adult life seaching for treasures of the earth.
Bouncing around in their Jeep, they traveld many places to dig for rocks. Every vacation they would pick a rock or gem trail and head out shovels in hand.
Over the years their backyard became a rock lovers wonderland, many young children were able to come and appreciate the amazing beauty and awe that rocks had hidden within their rough appearance.
They wanted to share their knowledge and love of rocks with the community, so they decided to go to the Santa Cruz flea market and for many wonderful years you would find them with a smile and a story about their hobby.
Now at the age of 90 Norma devotes her time making beautiful jelwery. Her pices are created from wire wrap and beautiful gems. It is her therapy from missing Jim.
"...there is a whole lot of love that goes into each piece of jewelry. I like to look at it for a little while then pass it on"
